A gentle down hill stroll brings you to Porthlysgi Bay, safe for swimming, sandy at low tide and suitable for fishing too.
Children will have lots of fun exploring the rock pools and the lack of road access makes it a quiet and peaceful spot to relax. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round too.
The coastal path passes here offering good circular walks, east to Porth Clais or west to Porth Selau and Whitesands Bay.
Head west to Wales’s most westerly point. The view is truly spectacular out towards Ramsey Island and the notorious sharp rocks known as the Bitches where many ships have foundered. Continue walking to St Justinians and the lifeboat station where you can rejoin the road back to the campsite, or into St David’s. There is a bus service from here as well.
